Volunteer Spotlight
Volunteer Spotlight:
Melissa Rash
Meet Melissa Rash, a passionate and dedicated BRBR volunteer who has supported nearly every corner of our campus—from working in the garden to helping with fundraising events, cabin resets, and kitchen service during Warrior PATHH weeks.
Melissa says the Big Red Barn Retreat feels like a “home away from home” and a place where she can give back to the veterans and first responders she so deeply respects. Whether she’s preparing meals, tending the gazebo flower beds, or meeting new Warrior PATHH participants, Melissa finds great joy and peace in being part of the BRBR community.
"The Big Red Barn is like a home away from home for me. I enjoy meeting all the Warrior sisters and brothers that come through the program. Being there is my way of thanking them for their service." - Melissa Rash
Thank you, Melissa, for your passion and commitment to our mission!
